Very great atmosphere. Awesome that they had a 3 course meal. Got the chicken karaage, ginger salad, and 9oz filet and it was very good. Great atmosphere for a casual date night, or even a business meal. Awesome venue and would come here again and again.

It was a lovely family dinner, that included our well-behaved 7 yr old grandson. I wasn't sure if the young one would be welcome, but he was. We were celebrating my return to skiing after recovery from two hip replacements. So we needed a restaurant worthy of the happy occasion. The Restaurant at Convict Lake delivered. The food was awesome & the service was attentive but not stuffy. I had my favorite, Beef Wellington, which was superb. The steak frites and the lamb were also enjoyed by our party. The bosc pear endive salad was abundant & delicious. We were too full to even consider desserts although the dessert menu also looked awesome. A special memorable dinner in a lovely rural setting.

Our server was fantastic as she was very friendly and attentive, she walked as though the menu and the wine list, helped make a few suggestions of her favorite items and then gave an acceptable amount of time to make our decisions, during which that time the Sommelier came by the table and helped us make decisions with our drink selection, which was awesome! Like most others that left their experiences, we had the Hazelnut honey grilled bread, the Cacio E Pepe , The Short Rib Cappellacci , the Breaded Pork Loin and finished with the Ricotta Doughnuts. Everything was really very good and well worth the hipe that this restaurant received…with exception of the doughnuts. They were good but maybe because I was just so full , they were just good. You know what I mean? Good but over hiped.Restaurant Romantic, Historic, Upscale, Cozy, Sexy! The service was fantastic and everyone did a great job! Food delicious, and worth every penny!
